For over 25 years the RWC of Lakeland has focused their fundraising efforts on benefiting education in Imperial Polk County. In addition to on-going scholarships at both Polk Community College and Southeastern University, our organization grants money for specific projects in the field of education.
Could you share with us a specific need or program in your school or community?
We rate projects on what we deem will have the greatest impact for the dollars we contribute. Individual awards will not exceed $500, and will be given directly to the school or individual. Our past contributions have been used for everything from lending libraries for infants and pre-school, to helping to fund the Science Olympics.
We want to help. Just tell us how.
Please email your request and a thorough description of how the money will be used. Be sure to include the benefit that you expect to achieve. Include also contact information so that we may get additional information if needed. If there is a time deadline for your funds request, please share that with us also. Please feel free to forward this information to other educators.
The Republican Women’s Club of Lakeland is one of the largest Republican Women’s clubs in the State of Florida. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Lakeland Yacht & Country Club for lunch with a speaker to keep us up to date on current events and give us personal interaction with candidates. We would love to have you join us at any time. We also have a group that meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month at night, should that fit better in your schedule.
While electing good people to office is the mission of the Republican Women’s Club of Lakeland, clearly supporting education in our community is our civic passion. Thank you for your help in directing our efforts to support you!
